The above is taken from the Traffic Swarm website. The concept of Traffic Swarm is that members get paid credits to cilck around on other members sites.These accumulated credits can then be used to advertise your product or service on the network . You get paid 1-5 credits to click on a sponsered site, as long as you remain on that site for at least 20 seconds. When you have collected some credits, (100 minimum), you can begin to advertise to the Traffic Swarm network.

The theory is that when your fellow entrepeneurs are clicking around for credits, they may get distracted and actually read your promotional material and become a buyer. Traffic Swarm has its share of supporter and detractors. Supporters say that you are getting lots of targeted traffic which translates into increased orders. Detractors will tell you that it is just a bunch of fellow marketers looking to get free advertising but totally uninterested in ordering anything.

I suspect the answer is somewhere in the middle, perhaps shaded a bit toward the positive side. After all, it is free. A recent change to allow people to simply buy credits may have changed the dynamic a bit. No longer do you have to actually surf to get credits so the search/advertise ratio has changed. One famous internet marketer told me he gave it a good try, even upgrading to the pro version. He said he received 0 sales and lost interest. Needless to say, he was very surprised to learn that I had actually purchased his book after clicking his ad!

Traffic Swarm is now part of the PluginProfit website package,so that exposure will surely bring in lots of fresh eyes. I have been given 5500 free credits as a PIP site owner so I will be updating this review soon with those results.
