Daegan Smith

I had been subscribing to Daegan Smiths newsletter for about 6 months and had never really paid much attention to it.

His tag line “ The king of never calling a single lead” was certainly interesting but I still mostly glossed over the newsletter whenever it appeared. Then one day while scanning it something caught my attention, something about putting x number of people into his downline without calling any leads and indeed having some of them signup without even calling him first. Now he was speaking my language or perhaps I finally opened my eyes.

In this particular issue he was promoting a book about how he had accomplished building a large downline in one year while also making front end money selling his information product. Since the book was modestly priced, about $37 as I recall, I decided to purchase it. Now I firmly believe in continually educating myself but I buy less than 1% of products that are offered to me so something about this product really appealed to me.

The book is call Net MLM Profits and to make a long story short I found it to be very useful and straightforward book detailing the story of how he went from losing money to full time income in one year. He explains how it did it and does not sugar coat the fact that it actually takes work and effort to succeed online. What came as a huge surprise to me is that while he never mentions which company he works with, and indeed makes it clear that the company you choose is not the important thing, he does print a screen shot which reveals the company. I was shocked when I realized it was an outfit I was already affiliated with and had pretty much put on the back burner as one I could not easily promote. Here comes Daegan Smith with this little $49/ month company and he is signing up people left and right (inside joke), almost automatically. What an eye opener.

In summary, I would recommend Net MLM Profits and Daegan Smith

Update 4-18-07 I just got off the phone with Daegan and he was telling me about his Power Prospecting System. I have been checking it out and it has to be the best lead generation program out there, and you make money while you gather targeted leads. It truly is amazing.

P.S.  For some mysterious reason, my signups to Company X have doubled since I read Daegan’s book, even though the only difference is in how I think about it regarding it as a profitable business. Strange huh?
